So I have a 14month old DS who was IVF as my eggs aren't great and my husbands sperm can't swim. We tried for 3 years naturally before a miscarriage led us to find out more about why it wasn't working.
So imagine my surprise this morning to find out that I'm pregnant.
I'm petrified. I have been drinking my daily glass of wine, skipping breakfast etc and I just feel like I've not given this poor embryo a great start.
I'm petrified about another miscarriage. Is there anything I can do to help it stay in? I'm going to get some vitamins etc at lunchtime.
Help wise Mumsnetters please.

Fantastic news, congratulations!

Don't panic. I'm assuming you're still quite early on, in which case your little one is getting all their nutrients from the yolk sac at the moment rather than you.

I'm not sure that there's anything that you can actually do to determine a successful pregnancy or not, just try to take care of yourself and definitely get some vitamins :)

Congratulations! Best not to worry about what has happened wine wise so far and go into preggo mode now. Nothing you can do to avoid mc but if you see a heartbeat at. 9.5 weeks I believe the risk goea down to 2.5%.
