I’m 36 weeks and after finding sugar in my urine for the last 2 midwife appointments i’ve been referred to a diabetes midwife to get a monitor and check my blood sugars at home after every meal. (at least i think that’s what i’ll be doing, i’ve not had an appointment yet!)
my midwife mentioned if i do have GD they are likely to induce me at 38 weeks. but she also said they will monitor my blood sugars for 2 weeks before hand. but i’ll be past 38 weeks by then! anybody got any experience?
i’ve had a GTT at 28 weeks and was fine then.
