I had a C-section 4 years ago and am now 25 weeks pg. Every time I cough, sneeze etc. my stomach muscles pull, exactly like how they felt immediately after the section only not as bad as that. Anyone else had this?

everything is stretching and pulling to accomodate the growing uterus ......so things will feel tender.....as long as you are not feeling pain and soreness in the actual scar area, should be ok, mention it to the midwife if you are concerned...

hi tinkjon, i not had a cs yet, lulu however is a doula so knows what she's on about !

hi fran...

I mostly know stuff, but obviously if you are in pain and concerned, that is what your midwife is there for !

Thanks lulu (and Fran)! It's not really pain, just different to the normal feel of muscles stretching. I'm seeing the midwife on Thursday so will mention it then.
