Anyone pregnant soon after miscarriage

Just wondering anyone got pregnant really soon after miscarriage. I had a natural complete miscarriage nearly a month ago. I was told I could start straight away if I was emotionally ready. So we began but when I went for my early scan for last pregnancy the nurse and somographer thought that the baby had maybe died a week or two before and my body just hadn't done the bleeding yet (the bleeding did come) and we had been having sex around then. Now after losing all symptoms etc having them again and some weird spotting.

Just wondering if people had some stories about conceiving after miscarriage

I had a missed miscarriage, diagnosed in mid April. I was supposed to be 12 weeks but a scan revealed an empty sac. I had to have an ERPC.

I got my first period exactly four weeks after my ERPC, and found out I was pregnant on June 26th, two and a half months after my ERPC. I'm now 11 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby Smile

Sorry for your loss x

Aww congrats, I can imagine how happy you are, particularly after your loss. Sorry also for your loss, I said to my partner that miscarriage had to be the worst thing a woman can go through, even when they're missed or early ones. One of my close friends actually got pregnant before she even got that period, although that woman I swear is the queen of fertility 😆

Yes OP, there is another thread on this too. 7 week m/c in February, bleed and was complete. I took a postitve test around 3 weeks later which was a bit confusing but it was a new pregnancy, according to dating scans I would have concieved around 7 days after the m/c bleed. Now 27 weeks with a healthy boy. 3rd loss in 8 months of TTC for us means I have been pregnant on and off for what feels like years, it has been a bit confusing, but it can certainly happen.

Ah see I've read a few posts like that dates back a couple years ago. Seems most women are quite fertile around 7-10 days post miscarriage. What do you count from (sorry what did you personally count back from), first day you bled or last? Just curious, helps pass the time of waiting if I'm honest.

Found out I was pregnant on 3rd Jan this yearwent to 12 week scan on 18th Jan, baby had stopped developing at 8 weeks. It was a missed miscarriage...
I had one proper period in Feb then found out on the 23rd March I was pregnant again. Now 25+6 weeks... keep hope, I thought it wouldn't happen so soon but it did x

I’m pregnant again after miscarriage 2 months ago. No period in between and all looking good so far. Only problem is, I feel like I’ve been secretly pregnant forever!!!! Good luck xxx

LimpLettice · 21/08/2018 20:23

Same as an ordinary cycle so 7 days after first full flow. I assumed the week after but all scans say not.

Flameless · 21/08/2018 20:26

8 years ago I had a miscarriage and conceived again without waiting for a period. The result is sitting next to mebeating a Krispy Kreme doughnut. Good luck!

Can I get your ladies advice? I had a miscarriage 1 st August. Bleeding lasted till the 6th and I think I ovulated 13th or 14th. I had EWCM and ovulation pains like I would normally. I DTD 10th, 12th, 14th and 15th.
Since Saturday I've felt strange, had some creamy white cm some stringy today. Also with some cramps and back pain. I've had this before. Could I be pregnant again? I wouldn't have period pains a week before my periods due it's normally the weekend or a few days before x

It happened to me really quick last Oct lost my baby at 4 weeks on 01/10/17 I was pregnant again by the beginning of Dec by approximately 4-5 weeks. I had a short period at the end of Oct and nothing after.

Delilah7 · 21/08/2018 21:10

@OrgyOfBarminess hmmm... I wonder. Don't wanna get my hopes up x

Delilah7 · 22/08/2018 11:21

If I post a pic of my Cm today after I've been sick today can someone advise me, I've had this before with last pregnancy but unsure x

So I was kinda losing hope. Mainly because my oh was feeling so pressured to perform and ejaculate that it killed his sex drive, felt so bad so laid off for a week. So today my 1st period should be due after the mc, getting cramps and lower back pain and then I had the smallest amount of brownish spotting, just like the size of the tip of my finger, so I was certain it's my period, being a little pissed that it's happening. I had just ordered 50 quids worth of ovulation tests and pregnancy tests ready for the next couple months and I still had one early response tests left so thought screw it do it and it actually came out positive, not a blaring positive but not that faint either. I did one two days ago and it was incredibly faint (I thought maybe still lingering even though I've been watching them I thought it had gone to nothing but maybe I had been wrong) then I did that one today and it was stronger. So it's got to be a positive right?! I didn't do the test till after a can of tall red bull and breakfast so my pee was a bit diluted. I keep going to the toilet expecting to see my period in full effect with these cramps and back pain but nothing

A positive ovulation test was my first sign of a pregnancy as was not the right date at all so got suspicious!! And the top test definitely looks positive! I mc in Feb and conceived again in May! I'm now 20 weeks with a healthy boy so best of luck to you too!!

ragingmama84 · 03/09/2018 13:52

Sirmione16 thank you, I do feel like this is it. I mean I counted the bleed from my mc as my last period and estimated when I would ovulate but I'm crap at those tests they always do a semi line like it's there but not as strong as the control line...drove me insane so I kinda gave up for conceiving before my 1st period (which I really wanted I was gutted with the mc and just wanted to be pregnant as fast as I could) and bought all those tests and then I test just for sake of it convinced my period is coming for last couple days and then that line showed up really quickly not what I expected and I keep expecting to see my period and it's not coming so fingers crossed 🤞 the bottom one is from two days ago and it was barely there I just thought it was a slight register from the mc but it seems not

Why don't you get a ClearBlue test. The one that tells you how many weeks you are.

Also, after two missed miscarriages, I went for a private scan in week 7 of my third pregnancy as I think 12 weeks is too long to wait to find out if there is a heart beat, it was all fine, so maybe something to give you a piece of mind..

ragingmama84 · 03/09/2018 17:49

@Yadiya I'm not going to go down road of clear blue yet (I have a few boxes of them lol) just because I'm my experience in the past they haven't shown me early pregnancy only when I was about four weeks, which it seems to measure as 2 weeks...honestly the way pregnancies are dated is baffling lol midwife says one thing, pregnancy test says another. In fact during the last scan to confirm I had lost baby no.2 ☹️ the sonograoher went into this rage at the clear blue digital test (in fact clear blue in general haha) saying that they led so many women to think they were such and such pregnant when they were really not that far along. I'm going to get another pack of early response as my partner really wanted to be there when I tested and if that shows the same then figure I'm extremely early on lol. And like you say I'm going to book in a private scan (as dr made it very clear last time that even if you have had five miscarriages you won't get your dating scan any earlier than 12 weeks unless something bad is going on) in a couple weeks to see just how pregnant I am. Sorry for long post I can never seem to condense what I want to say 😆

Yadiya · 03/09/2018 18:37

Yes, I know what you mean. During my whole pregnancy (third time was lucky for me) I kept on having this conversation with my mother about how far along I was. The weeks and the months make sense at the end but not so much in the beginning of the pregnancy. You are actually only around 2 weeks pregnant when you can a positive test in my opinion as during the first week you actually have your period and then conceive sometime during the second week potentially..
Whenever it is, hope that all is well this time round for youWink

ragingmama84 · 04/09/2018 12:15

@Yadiya yeah it's ridiculous. Same as why the midwife suggest you wait after a miscarriage mainly cause it makes dating the pregnancy easier for them. It's all just admin for them but for us we want to know how far along we are and if your obsessive and anal like myself you end up doing a lot of research and matching up your weeks with what symptoms you should be feeling and what your baby will look like at that point as in size of a peach, it all just keeps you a little distracted during your pregnancy. You'd think after having my first born I would just go with the flow, but having the miscarriage makes you very paranoid. Fingers crossed this time 🤞

So kind of freaking out as I did that test yesterday and so was a clear enough positive however I ha done it before noon, not first thing it was after breakfast but before my child napped. And then today wanted to do another test cause I'm clearly a masochist and I had downed a can of red bull as I was shattered and needed pee to be able to urinate then I get a fainter line....so now freaking out. Has anyone had this a strong positive then a faint positive after drinking a bit
