Hi,
Has anybody used this to help with breast feeding? I was unable to breast feed my first due to flat nipples but I really want to breastfeed my next. I've read some reviews but they are quite mixed. Any positive stories? Or any tips on breastfeeding with flat nipples?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Following with interest as I have this problem too.
I'll be going into the hospital armed with the right sized nipple shields to try to get off to a good start but would love to manage without them.

Oh and I did try latch assist but it didn't do much for me

Good luck with the nipple shields! I couldn't get on with them Sad

They're such a faff, I really hope I can do it without

I found the latch assist helpful, or pumping for a few minutes before trying to latch. Also look at videos of the flipple technique. I think non-tongue tied babies cope better with flat nipples so make sure baby is checked too. Cranial osteopathy for the baby.

Also Clare byam cook's 'sandwich' method instead of bloody 'nose to nipple'!
