Nipple piercings in pregnancy??

Anyone got nipple piercings? Did you take them out or leave them in? And did nipples hurt with them in after giving birth? Xx

When I had my eldest I kept my nipple bar in until I gave birth and then removed it to breastfeed. If you plan on breastfeeding I'd just take it out some time before the birth. Also, I had an emergency section and couldn't get it out at the time due to being in shock, so in hindsight I wish I'd taken it out prior to giving birth.

I ended up taking my bar out towards the end of pregnancy. I didn't breastfeed in the end but my boobs were so big and sore the bar kinda dug in a bit and rubbed. I never bothered putting it back in after having DD and I thought I'd miss it but I don't. I think if it hadn't irritated me so much I wouldn't have taken it out though.
