CANt next out HPT result?

Hi everyone.
Really confused with my HPT result 😕
I’m 3 days late and am normally spot on 29 days or a day or so early. Not having the usual signs of AF arriving but also not really having symptoms of pregnancy (didn’t with my DD either). I took a test this evening and the positive line turned dark pink on the edges of the line, particularly at the top, but not in the middle? I can see where the test line is but it’s not pink? Can anyone shed some light please. Also advice on how I can put a pic on here for people to see would be much appreciated.

Yes there are two lines but the test line has darkened edges but not in the middle. I test a couple hours later and it came out negative. Could only guess it could be negative because hcg not strong enough after first test?

Hcg is the strongest first urine of the morning. Try again tomorrow and try not to flood it. Good luck.
