Hi all- wonder when to officially start panicking. Still feeling movements just very reduced. I'm talking 10 - max 15 in a 24 hour period I've marked 4 movements and they've been light in comparison to normal since 9am at my desk
I've tried cold drinks, had my lunch, something sweet, physically moving/tapping my tummy
Haven't tried left side or fizzy as I'm at work
My tummy is also soft which I guess could be down to different position? Would think be why I can't feel anything?

Suggestions welcome I don't know whether to continue monitoring or ring midwife or just leave work to be assessed? X

Ring your assessment unit or hospital and go straight there now!

OP I would ring in your position. The panicking and worrying will drive you mad. I've been there and just making the call can start to ease your mind. Hope all is well.

Most probably everything is fine but you need assessing xxx

Stephisaur · 20/08/2018 13:12

I would get checked right away, for your own peace of mind.
Don't let the midwives fob you off.
You really need to be seen with ANY change of movement.
All the best, let us know how you get on Flowers

Definitely call your midwife - in the unlikely event that there's something wrong then they need to act asap and if everything’s fine then you can relax.

I am 28 weeks today and was in hospital because if 24 hours if reduced movements. He was still moving but compared to it being constant I only had 3 kicks all day. They were great,Told me it was right I came in. They poked about and then put the monitors on me...he then kicked none stop for half an hour. Put my mind at rest and they told me to ALWAYS call if it happens again. Better safe than sorry xx

How are you doing OP?

widgetbeana · 21/08/2018 09:04

@Kt2108

My midwife used to write at the top of our notes in bold black pen

'If in doubt, check it out'

Please get checked, no matter how silly you might feel.

X❤️
