Hi,

I've just found out today I'm pregnant and I'm currently working my notice at work with this next week been my last week and due to start a new job on the 3rd of September...

I'm panicking!! Part of me wishes I was staying at my old job for the 9 months with people I know and the other part wants this new job. The probationary is also 24 weeks so no matter when I tell them I could be at risk of loosing my job. When would you guys tell them?

I would tell them as late on as possible and once I had enough evidence of my successful work with them. Keep printed records of all praise and follow up review meetings with emails summarising what was discussed (eg thanks for going through x,y,z I'm pleased to hear that....) and make sure you do ask for regular meetings to obtain this feedback. When you do tell them make sure you do so in writing and print that out for your records.

Oh my dear I wish I could help you. Am in the same situation 16 weeks and started a new job 2 months ago, my employer don’t know about it. And is stressing me when to tell them, and even if I do would they pass me my probation. I know how you’re feeling and am so sorry 😐 I have no clue. Let’s wait for some of the advice from here. Good luck
