Ten weeks but boobs are already exploding

Is this normal?!

I’ve gone up two sizes and they are so sore and tender! Is there anything I should be doing to help this?

I’m normally a 32dd which already seems big on my petite frame but now I look ridiculous. Not told my work yet so I’m paranoid my boobs will give it away.

Mine increased in size until around 20 weeks then haven't gone up since. They hurt a lot around 8-12 weeks then at about 18-22 weeks.

As long as you get bras that fit, bras that are supportive and aren't into wearing tight tops then it won't be noticed. The rare few people who notice will think you are getting fat.

I was the same at 10 weeks, 2 sizes bigger, it was crazy. Im 36 weeks now and they've settled down now and gone back down a sizeSmile

Mine got massive between weeks 4-8. My SIL guessed I was pregnant the day after I got a positive test (about 4.5 weeks) just because my boobs poked huge! They’ve pretty much stayed the same since then and I’m 38 weeks now.

Thanks guys. I suppose I’m more annoyed about the pain than the size.
I’m thinking of getting some non underwired bras - is this bad for your breasts long term? I feel like the underwire is really digging in and making them worse but then that could be cos they are too small. Apologies for the stupid questions but it’s my first pregnancy and though wanted it’s a massive shock to my system!

I tried on wireless maternity bras but they didn't give me any support at all to just walk around in.

In the end for the first period I brought a maternity bra to wear at night and then brought cheap underwire bras and sports bras to wear in the day. The cheap sports bras I didn't and wouldn't do any exercise in because they don't provide enough support so I brought a proper berlei sports bra for exercising in. I wouldn't buy a lot of day to day bras though in case your size increases again just get 2/3 and wash regularly.

I think this is normal I'm afraid, I'm fairly sure most of my office guessed as my boobs ballooned from an E to a G at week 6/7, and they do hurt especially at night. I couldn't love without underwire, I used underwired nursing bras after baby was born too. Didn't do anyone any harm. The mothercare night maternity bras are pretty good to reduce pain. Mine settled down around week 12 (painwise, still huge! But last time actually got smaller after baby was born so my body does things the wrong way round!)

I think it's pretty standard but things do get better! At 6 weeks I was in so much agony. 8 weeks and I was up 2 bra sizes and still in the same amount of pain. I'm 14 weeks now and my boobs seem to have stopped growing from 8 weeks and the pain has gone. I'm still finding the size of the weird but they're more comfortable now.
