Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

lol - no, I worried about pretty much everything that could conceivably happen during childbirth - except, I now discover, my labia being stretched. (this didn't happen, incidentally! And my baby had a big head)

yes - i wasn't too worried...more embarrassed till i read that they can get stretched during labour!!

Never mind that...I read the other day that if you have a water birth, the midwife uses a seive to seive out poo...

I'm 21 weeks with my first and trying not to think about the indignity of the whole process, but this really takes the biscuit...

Drurylane - told my DH about the 'fishing net' that will be poolside if i manage to have a water birth last night. He didn't believe me!This man is going to be in for a shock....

beckmo · 06/06/2007 09:26

Oh...and OP...no...can't muster up the stenght to worry about my labia size!Due in 2 days and slowley watching everything change shape , stretch, swell and generally become unrecognisable. I am now resigned to it!As long as it all still vaguely functions once I get through this I'll be happy....

Good Luck Beckmo!

I haven't filled DH in about any of these birthing nicities yet...perhaps I'll wait for it to come up at NCT / ante-natal!!!
