Was due on two days ago I'm sure I ovulated early aswell. Is it too early to test and get an accurate answer? Or are some test good at picking up the hormone early? Going out of my mind not knowing and very nervous. Nearest shop that sell them is a half an hour walk away. Will have the car tomorrow but don't think I can wait till then Confused

I’ve only ever used First Response Early Result but both times I was pregnant it gave me a clear (and correct) result so would definitely recommend it.

If you’re already late you probably don’t even need a super sensitive test as most should pick up from your missed period , I’ve heard pink dye tests like first response are generally less likely to give misleading results like evaporation lines.

I used the Clearblue early detection one which tells you 5 days before you are due on. It is probably very similar to first response. I tested when I was a day late and got a very strong line.

I used First Response Early Result on the day my period was due and got a very strong line. I used an eBay cheapie at the same time and the line was there but quite faint. I’d recommend First Response. Good luck! X

Best time to do it is first wee of the day though :) good luck. I bought the first response one yesterday and got a BFP today eeekkk had to keep it to myself until my husband woke up as I went to the loo at 4am :)

First response early result definitely

I used First Response Early Response for the first positive, then confirmed a couple of days later with a Clearblue Digital (which is more expensive and not as sensitive)

Good luck OP! I found the first response tests very good, but I agree the best time is first morning wee.
