Harmony test incorrect gestational age

Wonder if anyone can help us

Had a harmony test on 9/8/18 when DW was 10+4, harmony results came back today ‘all clear’ however the gestational age is showing as 33+4

Can the incorrect gestational age affect the actual result?

We need to wait until Monday now to have the clinicians and lab look at this - as they don’t work on a Saturday!

Wondering if it’s a case of having to go through the whole process again? Or if it’s a case of re inputting the gestational age and using the original blood test already taken

I’ve got to be honest that beyond the stres I’m also annoyed as this test cost a fortune and obviously was not checked before sending out!

Any help most welcome

Hi @Dadsussex I hope someone can come along soon to help.

I was wondering why you opted for the harmony tests? I got a NT of 4mm today and also considering opting for this test ASAP.

DS No3 has a chromosome deletion so we took the test for reassurance.

So the poor reporting/mistaken report is causing quite a lot of stress today. However if the test results remain correct once this gets resolved re the gestational age then we are over the moon as the results are all clear!

It’s a very simple blood test, and lots of people say it’s puts your mind at rest (either way) with a slightly larger NT measurement. And doesn’t carry the miscarriage risk of say a CVS

@Dadsussex many thanks.
I will keep my fingers crossed that the gestational age correction of the tests keep your results all clear, that really is great news!

Thought I’d update the post In case anyone reads this post at some point in the future

The gestational age was a typo. The results were recalculated and remained exactly the same as they had been prior to the typo.
