Any advice on which TENS machine to get?

Hi all

I've searched google for mumsnet discussions on tens machines but they all seem to be several years old.

what is the latest recommendation / advice on which tens machine to get?

i was advised to get one from Boots and it seems their best one is
Mama Tens My Time which can also be found for £20 cheaper on Amazon...however there it has quite bad reviews ~ 3.5.

there are Tens Machines on amazon which have higher ratings of 4-4.5 however they all seem to have 5-20 intensity controls steps vs the 140 on the Mama Tens My Time machine.

Would love any advice / recommendations

I got an Elle Tens. Although I know nothing about the technicalities, it's designed specifically for childbirth. It definitely did the trick, can tell you that much. Make sure you get the larger pads, designed for childbirth too.
Have you spoken to your midwife? In most NHS trusts you can hire them for around a tenner, which is much cheaper than buying (I didn't know this when I bought mine).
If you do buy one, you can get some that also double up as pelvic floor exercisers (for after birth only) which could come in handy!!

I hired from Mothercare you order online and put in the dates you need it from but they're very relaxed with when you send it back.
