Just weighing up my options after finding out baby is breech.
Would love to hear everyone's experiences and the conclusion...

Hi!
I had suspected fetal growth restitction and footling/bum breach. She kept moving from legs up to feet down.
The insisted in Cs at 35ish weeks? Unsure of the dates sorry. But I refused till they did another scan (which they wouldn't do until for another two weeks, well after the Cs date)
Heart set in vaginal birth, so demanded an ecv as every other method of flipping baby didn't work.
Had read all the horror stories of ecv and had to sign an extra form because they don't usually do it for small babies.

Had the injection and was left for an hour (busy day apparently...) so medicine worn off by the time they came. Ecv done, baby monitored over night. Labour to a healthy regular size babe 4ish weeks later!

Was a little uncomfortable at one point, but not painful. The medication makes you feel like your heart is racing and a little oxygen overdosed but that might have been nerves too. Would happily do it again with this babe. But always trust your gut instinct!

I had an ECV at 38 weeks. The procedure was absolutely fine just a bit uncomfortable. The doctor had two attempts but DD wouldn't budge even an inch so the doctor didn't want to risk persevering as she was so stubbornly wedged.

I had her by c section a week later and although I'd wanted a vaginal birth I can say that meeting DD was by far and away still the most special moment of my life so far. It didn't really matter how she got here!

My daughter was breech. The ecv wouldn't shift her. They managed to get her 30 degrees round but she just pinged straight back again as soon as he let go. Glad I tried. I had a c-section at 39 weeks. Was amazing. I don't feel sorry that I didn't get a vaginal birth.
