Cream is usually fine, it's what they give you when pregnant. Still definitely worth checking with the pharmacy for next time (from memory they don't recommend internal application or taking a tablet), but tons of us get thrush through pregnancy and I have three healthy post-canesten boys myself.
It also helps to keep your sugar intake on the lower side, eat lots of yoghurt and wear big cotton granny pants Blush instead of anything with polyester or that will ride up. Uniqlo do some great maternity ones.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!

The cream is totally safe. Give your GP surgery a ring at lunchtime to discuss though as thrush is much harder to get rid of in pregnancy (I’ve had it pretty much non stop from 8 to 38 weeks with multiple treatments medical and non-medical 😩) and they may wish to give you something stronger.

The peasant is normally fine but I’d just check with the GP they are happy for you to have it in the first trimester. The pharmacy will likely say ‘check with your GP’ as they are generally terrified of pregnant women.

Pessary not peasant!
