NCT Classes 2nd time around

Is or has anyone considered doing the NCT classes with a subsequent pregnancy?

I'm quite isolated where I live and really valued the friendships made last time, but we were all first timers and it's not the cheapest!

My sister done NCT with her 2nd child as she never done it with her 1st and said she really wished she had done it after seeing the friendships I've made from NCT. I think you'd certainly benefit from it and might even learn new things too.

The course leaders are great and usually can adapt to fit everyone needs in what they teach.

We are starting TTC again for #2 and already know we want to do the NCT class again. It's just nice having company during maternity and to have our minds refreshed

They apparently do a refresher course for people who already have babies. Not sure all areas do these though.

I did the full signature course with my second child. Like you, I had moved and didn’t know many people. It was honestly one of the best decisions I ever made and have a fantastic friendship network now.

I did the one day refresher with my 2nd. We were in a new area too, and I wish I had done the full one really. After one day we just went our separate ways and didn't even exchange contact details. One couple left half way through! Bit of a waste of money looking back.

On our course we had a couple who were new to the area and having their 2nd. It's been nice having someone who has been through it and has added to our friendship group.
