help!!! all I done was crying because is was my first time high risk and low pappa

I’m worrying so much now. My results came back at high risk of my blood n baby could ave downs syndrome n I got low pappa got to take aspirin to thin my blood n midwife sed am 1 in 29 womans baby could ave it I need to take Asprin everyday. The midwife mentioned everything to me about this and talking about cvs to ave injection in my tummy get fuilds out so is can send off get test if baby cud ave downs so obviously I googled it and really i dont know what to do need help and now I haven’t got a clue what’s going on but the risks of that are terrifying. I can't go privte get test because I Has anyone else had any experience with this? need help 😔

Ok, so this is obviously a very scary time for you. There’s a charity called ARC, who you can talk to about your options www.arc-uk.org

Step away from google. It is not your friend. You don’t have to have the amnio test if you don’t want to, it really depends on what you’d do if the baby does have downs.

It’s also worth remembering that your risk is 1 in 29. That means that the other 28 women will have healthy babies.

The best advice I can give is to talk to Arc, who can explain your options in more detail.
