Maternity pay after being on maternity pay?

Hi guys,
I'm due to go back to work next week after having my son, although I'm 15 weeks pregnant and I'm worried. VERY worried. Will I be entitled to another lot of maternity pay? I am due the 8th feb and I'm planning on staying at work until mid January or as long as needed if it makes the difference if qualifying for SMP.
Is every company's policy different or do they all have to follow a guideline?
Many Thanks x

The Maternity Alliance website is very good on these sort it unusual issues.

You should get statutory maternity pay because being on maternity leave counts as being employed.

Whether you get enhanced maternity pay depends on your employers policy.

Statutory maternity pay is calculated on earnings between 17 and 25 weeks pregnant, if I've done the maths correctly (the 8 weeks before you are 15 weeks from delivery). Additional maternity, if provided by your company, may have different rules.
