16 week gender scan?

Has anyone had a 16 week private gender scan and it's been completely correct?

We had one at 17 weeks with DD2 and it was correct. The 3 lines they look for with a girl were very clear to see.
We had one at 16 weeks this time round and it’s boy bits were very clear to see! Baby not born yet but we were told boy at the 20 week scan too (and have a very clear shot of a penis and testicles!)

I have one booked for a few weeks. I think they are accurate most of the time as long as the baby is in the correct position for them to see what they need to.

I’m not in the UK, but I’ve found out the (correct) sex at 12w in all 3 pregnancies - 2 girls and 1 boy. An experienced sonographer will be able to tell at 16w and if they can’t get a clear enough view to say they will tell you.

Thanks everyone, I was so interested in the nub theory and our little cheeky monkey was moving so much they just about got it but can't see a nub! 🙈

Yep I had one at 16+6 and it was 100% accurate.

Mine was accurate at 15 weeks
