Yellow discharge 10 wks pregnant

Hi,

I'm having a slight panic, as I've just noticed some yellow discharge. I've had multiple miscarriages in the past and I should be 10 + 2 today.
I've had reassurance scans, my last was last Monday at 9 weeks and baby was measuring ahead with a heartbeat.
Has anyone else had funny coloured discharge? My symptoms seem to have eased as well. :(
I'll contact EPU tomorrow, but pretty sure I've miscarried.

Don't worry. I've had yellowish snot like discharge pretty much throughout this pregnancy. I'm also 10 weeks and have also noticed my symptoms improving. I had a scan yesterday which showed a healthy baby with a heartbeat.

I've also had a miscarriage so can totally understand your fear, but discharge is a very common sign of pregnancy.

Good luck, I think you're going to be just fine Flowers

Only saw this thread as it popped up on 'Active'...it's a long time since I've been pregnant! However I do remember when I was pregnant with my ds, now 14, we were at a good friend's wedding. I went to the loo and noticed bright yellow, sticky discharged. It ruined the day for me as I was convinced something was terribly wrong. I got a gp appointment the very next day who reassured me that weird discharge is perfectly normal when pregnant. And it was. I was fine, baby was fine. You'll be fine! It's normal. Flowers

Hi, I have had yellow discharge as well which was pretty gross, looks like snot. I’m currently 9 weeks and had a scan at the weekend, all was fine.
Are you on any pregnancy vitamins? Apparently they can make both your discharge and wee more yellow. X

CobaltRose · 15/08/2018 19:45

Yeah, I've noticed my wee has been varying shades of green and yellow whilst I've been taking vitamins!

I had peach coloured discharge around your point in pregnancy, I was terrified!!
All was well having a baby throws up some odd stuff!!
Best wishes to you xx

Oh, I'm so grateful for all your quick and reassuring replies.
Pregnancy after loss is so, so hard. I'm under the recurrent miscarriage clinic at my local EPU and they're very happy for me to self refer if I feel I need a scan. I've had two so far, at 6 and 9 wks, but I think I'll go tomorrow. All my losses, bar one have been missed miscarriages and I just can't bear the thought of thinking/hoping everything is ok if it isn't.

I'm 32 weeks and had it most of the way through, had it with my first child too. I just always wear a panty liner Blush

@SW2Sugar sorry to hear about your previous losses 🌸 that’s good that you can self refer whenever you need to. Let us know how you get on! But yep I’d already been googling about yellow discharge as it’s a bit disconcerting at first! But totally normal xx

BlueBug45 · 15/08/2018 22:03

It's normal to get yellow discharge throughout pregnancy, and you may get a lot of it at certain times for seemingly no particular reason. However if the discharge is ever smelly and/or itchy you need to go and see your GP asap not your midwife.

Hi all,

I had my scan today, all well! I can't believe it, I've never got this far! They moved me forward by almost a week, so now they've bought my 12 week scan forward to next week.
Thank you so much for all your responses!
I'll definitely keep an eye on it @bluebug, I've not booked in yet, due to the losses, but filled out the form today.
