I am! Dd was 3 in june, ds will be 1 in oct, dc3 due november! Busy times! Thank goodness for preschool! When you due?

Patienceofatoddler · 15/08/2018 07:15

I'm likely to be due Dec and my eldest will turn 4 about 3 weeks prior to newest arrival Smile

I never really considered it a small age gap but most people we have told have commented on them being so young Hmm

Cherubfish · 15/08/2018 07:21

I had 3 under 4! What worked for me was to have my nearly 4yo in afternoon pre-school sessions (if available) rather than morning. So we would all do something together in the mornings (eg toddler group, music class), then the eldest would go to pre-school while the other two had a nap. And I would get to relax!

SolitaA · 15/08/2018 07:37

Thats a good plan @Cherubfish. Mine is already at preschool doing tues-thurs so we will have mon and fri together. Also 1yo in nursery 1.5 days from sept too so me n new baby should get some nap time together 😂

I have 4 aged 4 and under (actually 5 aged 5 and under) 5, 4, 2 and 6 month old twins. It's busy but we tick a long nicely Smile

MrsY87 · 15/08/2018 07:58

We're expecting twins so will have 4 under 5 come the new year of which 3 will be under 2!

@TakeOffYourJudgyPants what was the gap between your 3rd & twins? I'm going to have a 17m gap...any tips on dealing with twins & a toddler!?

Theweasleytwins · 15/08/2018 08:14

Babypb · 15/08/2018 09:05

Wow. I’m glad I’m not alone! Let me know if anyone wants to join a Facebook group to chat, I find it much easier to keep on top of discussions!

@MrsY87 there was 2 years 2 months between my toddler and my twins.

Best advice would be to be gentle with yourself! It's okay to have lots of time in front of CBeebies if it means making it through the day. Lots of cuddles for your toddler and try to make them feel included in what you do with the babies. There will be some really tough days and but it will pass and you will survive Smile

MrsY87 · 16/08/2018 05:55

Thanks @TakeOffYourJudgyPants I think CBeebies will be my saviour in the early days!
