40+1 weeks pregnant looks like vagina is swollen!

I had a sweep at 40 weeks( yesterday) and I've had a bloody show which doc said was normal afterwards also alot of mucus. This is my 2nd baby but I can't remember my vagina looking like this with my 1st. When looking in the mirror I noticed the inside of my vagina looking very swollen(like it was about to fall out lets say🙄) it looks like 2 big bulges! When doc examined me yesterday she didn't mention it but I haven't noticed it looking like this before. Doc said Head is low, Membranes are bulging, I'm 2cm dilated. Has anyone experienced this or is experiencing this? Reluctant to phone delivery suite or midwife as it may be normal!

I hope it’s normal because I have the same. Also second baby and didn’t notice this with first. I think something’s prolapsed too i’m 35 weeks and it’s been getting bigger/more swollen for a few weeks now.

Doc never said anything yesterday about it but I'm not sure if it was like this yesterday! I've got another sweep on thursday so will mention it then! I'm trying to find out what it actually is bulging out as it looks like balls is the only way to describe it! Tmi I no but I was just hoping it's a sign I'm going to go into labour lol!

Yes i had this when i was just about to pop! Think i googled it and it was normal

It's totally normal and nothing to worry about. There's an awful lot of extra pressure down there that late in pregnancy.

Mine got so swollen it hurt to wipe after peeing but I went nearly two weeks overdue

Mines been swollen since 20 weeks
