I'm 18 weeks pregnant.. and this morning I've had the weirdest feeling.

I woke up with awful cramps. They were so bad but have faded. I've been suffering with hyperemisis and today I don't feel anything, no nausea or anything. I don't feel dizzy or tired (which I have every day) but it's been so sudden it's all stopped! Had all the symptoms before bed...

Also (I'm a second time mum) my bump has disappeared dramatically overnight! I'll attach a photo. I've had many issues in this pregnancy so I'm super worried!!

Anyone had this or know what it may be??

If you're worried about anything phone your midwife.
It's probably nothing but worrying isn't good for you either x

Phone your midwife or whoever you are under.

This happened to me and it was nothing, just baby settled in. Like you I was so worried and rushed to my gynae for a scan but it was fine. But please see someone just to put your mind at rest.

It might just be that your bloating has died down?

If you're worried though, call your midwife. That's what they're there for x

Maybe the baby turned position which hurt but call and get advice it's the only safe answer

I have had exact same worries for past week. I am 19 weeks tomorrow. I feel totally normal, boobs have shrunk and bump too. I had also been feeling movement and hadn't felt anything for a good few days. I was so worried. Yesterday I saw MW who listened to heartbeat and everything is FINE. I then realised that I had had a lot of gas the past 3 days and only just managed to have a number 2 after 5 days so I think my 'bump' wasn't actually baby Blush perhaps this is happening to you too? At 18 weeks it's totally normal not to have a bump, baby has loads of space still so can move around and change position. I read on one site saying 'if something terrible had happened baby would stay the same size, not shrink down, so it's much more likely baby has moved or that bump was more gas than baby'. I know every one is different but your bump is big for 18 weeks! Your second photo looks much more how I look and how 2 other women in my yoga class look around the same stage so I would guess a lot of it before was gas! Don't worry! But do call midwife I am sure they will happily see you and give you some reassurance

I’ve had zero symptoms since day one get checked if worried

mum2H13 · 17/08/2018 11:33

I've contacted midwives as I am worried, I've had such severe sickness I look noticeably thinner everywhere else and I've told them of my concerns and they just fob me off... :/

Did you go in and get monitored

divainred · 19/08/2018 15:56

Update from me I’ve had a scan and all is well

lakehouse · 19/08/2018 16:55

You can pay £60 for a private scan and book a time that suits you. Do that rather than worrying!
