3rd Trimester Weight Loss - Normal or Not?

Im currently 32 weeks pregnant, my pre-pregnancy weight was 12st 2. At the start I lost a lot of weight but have finally gone back up, last week I was 12st 5 however over the last 7 days I have lost 5lbs and I am back to 12st.

Is it normal to be fluctuating and losing weight at this stage? Im eating normally and never go hungry etc. At the last scan (28 weeks) baby was healthy and actually weighing on the larger scale so think he's okay but don't know if it's worth mentioning to a midwife or Im just overthinking?? (FTM)

I think it's normal to lose weight in the first trimester, but not on the third. I read that you should be putting on about 1Ibs a week in your third trimester (but I don't think there is a recommended guideline in the UK for what weight you should be gaining).
It's also recommended to eat approx 200 calories more in your third trimester.
Definitely worth mentioning to your midwife. They might recommend that you up your calorie intake.
If you are still quite active you might be unintentionally burning more calories than you think.
