How much later was your second than your first?

First DC came at 39+2. I'm there already with second pregnancy and no sign of labour. Trying to manage expectations. I was convinced they'd be here by now! I know theoretically it still could be up to 3 weeks more, but what are your experiences?

My first came 4 weeks early and I'm still pregnant with my second wondering the same!!

Ds2 was 5 days earlier than ds1, ds3 was 6 days earlier than ds2.

First was 39+6, 2nd 40+2, currently 40+2 and waiting :(

Pfb was born at 40 weeks +10, next one was 3 days early.

38+6, 37+5, 39+6

40 weeks then 35+4

41+1 spontaneous labour

42+1 induced labour

39+2 spontaneous labour
41 + 5 induced

The waiting was utter hell but the induction was actually absolutely fine and by far the better birth. If I'd known how different induction is with subsequent children I would have been a lot more relaxed, wish I could go back and give myself a talking to!

DD1, 40 weeks +3. DD2, 40 weeks. DD3, 35 weeks.

I don't think there is any rhyme or reason to it really. Each pregnancy is often different. Each birth can also be very different, as mine were.

First baby was 1 week early, 2nd baby was 1 week late.

First = 39+6
Second = 42+5 (my doctor let me go over a bit as my DGF has died on my due date and I was given a few days extra to cope with it). If she hadn’t come when she did I was booked for induce

First was ten days early.
Second was three days late.
I was really frustrated as it felt like two weeks late! I was huge. My hands are a ring size bigger and feet half a size bigger. That was eleven years ago.
But the second birth was much easier.

Mine were all born 40+3! Weird, I know.

Both of mine were 40+2

About 7 weeks difference! Almost 35 weeks first time and 40+12 endless days with my second!

41+3 with DC1 and 42+1 with DC2 who was eventually induced.

Currently pregnant with DC3 and have a very strong feeling that this one will be early. Largely because I'm more mobile this time round. However I suspect this is wishful thinking on my part.

42 with ds 1, 41 exactly with ds2, currently 40+5 with ds3 and cervix is still unfavourable so being induced on thursday (hopefully).

My first is a girl and came 37+4
My second is a boy and came 38+6
My third is a boy and can't wait to find out 😍I'm currently 34+3 and this is the most painful pregnancy yet I feel hel come at 36weeks! X

Labour started about an hour later with dc2 but he was born about half an hour earlier.

Dc1: 37+0 00:36 hrs
Dc2: 36+6 23.55 hrs

First 39 +2, second 39+5. Much quicker labour.

Second came fourteen weeks later. Yes really.
