Hi, I've got a letter through this weekend from the hospital with an appt for a "midwife episode", just wondering if anyone knew what this meant? Had a quick google but nothing definitive, there was lots about episodes of Call the Midwife though! For context I'm 33 weeks pg with twins. TIA!

I'd guess an appointment with a midwife....have you been seeing a community midwife? Because of the twins I'm guessing youve been consultant led?

Thanks! Yes seen a few consultants and midwives but never had anything referred to as an "episode" before so wondering whether there was anything.significant or particular about that term!

I think it’s just another word for appointment?

Reminds me of that episode in friends when Joey used the thesaurus to write the adoption recommendation.
