Recommendations for breast pumps

Hi all,
I am looking for recommendations for breast pumps that you have found to be easy to use and effective. At the moment I am leaning towards an electric pump as it seems like an easier option but very happy to hear people's first hand experiences.
Thanks very much!

I have a medala swing which is good (bought from Facebook as more affordable second hand!) but I have to say I use my naturebond catcher much more as this just goes on the other breast and catches any let down when feeding. I usually end up with 2-3 oz without having to think about it. And it’s a lot cheaper! I think the haakka is the same thing.

I used the Avent natural electric pump and never had any problems with it.

Don't bother until you know you actually need one. They are expensive and unnecessary in most cases. Only one friend of mine, from an nct group of 8, used hers more than once.

If you desperately want to buy one then I'd recommend an ardo calypso. Its what the milk bank leant me when I was pumping for them. Also as it's a completely closed system you can buy them safely second hand (unlike the Medela seeing which I hated but most people rave about).
