Who do I call? Just been to the loo and there’s blood when I wipe - not masses and no pain as yet. Do I call 111 in the morning or wait for my GP/midwife on Monday?

Freaking out slightly

Do you have your maternity notes?

There will be a number on there for you to call. Call them this morning when it's daylight.

Emmasmum2013 · 12/08/2018 04:43

You can call 111 at any time.
I would if I were you. Always best to get these things sorted ASAP.

Both my pregnancies have had bleeding in them and everything was fine. They never did get to the bottom of what caused it.

Hopefully will be the same for you x

Thank you, that’s reassuring.
My notes just have my midwife’s number on which I know is not out of hours.

I’ll call 111 in the morning and see if I can get an out of hours gp appointment.

Does your hospital have an early pregnancy unit? If so they can have you come in and get scanned if any worries like bleeding - just call them so they can expect you. Hope all ok x

ChristmasAccountant · 12/08/2018 19:23

I have an appointment in the morning at EPU, ours don’t open at the weekend. The bleeding has tailed off so hopefully all ok.
