There was a really interesting thread about this recently.
The summary was that if you have dilated before (ie went into labour but couldn’t push baby out) you’ll be much more likely to have a successful vbac (less risk of tears and intervention) than those who haven’t.

@dellie84 interesting. My first birth I did dilate but not naturally, was on syntocin drip, failure to progress and detail distress lead to EMCS.

Second birth was straight EMCS due to infection detected when labour started (no dilation)

Hoping for third time lucky
