11weeks postpartum, taken MANY tests. I’ve had faint positives all week. Got a negative this morning and two more faint positives tonight. Any idea on why that would happen? Also when will my lines get darker? I haven’t had a period since birth. Help Confused

Have you had unprotected sex since giving birth?

Kendra21 · 11/08/2018 07:49

Yes.

I figure I am, just confused on the tests.

Can you go to a GP and have a blood test?

Kendra21 · 11/08/2018 07:53

Also. The lines start out super faint and get darker. Hmm

I have an OB appointment on the 30th. Idk if they do blood test unless they deem necessary or I pay for it. 🙄

Sadly it comes down to money with some of them 😕

Could it just be hormones lingering from your last pregnancy? I don't know how quickly they go but it can take a few weeks. What made you take a test?

huskyowner123 · 11/08/2018 08:46

Doctor said hormones would be gone. I was feeling nauseated, extremely exhausted, and I had been eating more than usual. (All just like my last pregnancy) not to mention the back pain and headaches. I've also had some light cramping.

Sorry. My user name didn't show up before how it was supposed to. Lol

huskyowner123 · 11/08/2018 08:47

Hormones only stick around 3-4 weeks apparently. I'm exactly 11 weeks out.

Pinkvoid · 11/08/2018 10:20

Hormones do generally only stick around for 3-4 weeks unless you have retained any placenta. This could well be a possibility as could pregnancy. It is safest to get checked out.

I had an emergency c section. I don't think any remained, but I have a doc appointment on the 30th :)

What was the outcome of this? 11 weeks pp now, might be pregnant, had emergency c section and terrified it will cause huge issues
