37+2 does this look like my mucous plug?

Hey ladies,
Over the past week I’ve had increased discharge quite a bit, however no blood. When I wiped today I got this in the photos.
My vagina lips feel swollen and baby has been leaning on my bladder all day causing it to be an issue when weeing. He’s also 3/fifths engaged so not sure if that means anything in relation to discomfort.

What I’m asking is, does this look like my mucous plug coming away? I haven’t had any blood tinged tissue since this earlier.

Hi- mine was quite a bit bigger and more “mucusy” (gross!). I wasn’t sure if I would recognise it but when it came, I knew. It looked exactly like a stopper! I’m sure we are all different but that doesn’t look like one to me, but it could be the start of it.

Mine didn't look like that either. It was pretty gross lol.

Looks like it might be the start of it. Both times, like PPs have said, it was bigger and more glob-like. Though I had a few little bits come away before the whole thing. Though both times, it didn’t come away properly till I was having contractions. That’s definitely a good sign that things are getting ready though xx
