Nub theory

Hi I'm 25 weeks now but still intrigued about the nub theory I've no idea if I can even see one on this scan

This scan was at 12 weeks

That looks like a girly nub! The nub is the little white line on the genital area ... If it's parallel to the spine (which it looks like it is) or pointing down it's supposed to be a girl. Up at a 30 degree or more angle means boy

Sometimes you can't see a nub or it's difficult to tell because of the way the baby is lying but that's a nice clear shot !

Thank you again @ReginaPhalange89 I've popped into onto another thread an had a mixed response of girl and boy probably 50% so will have to be patient and wait to see x

Ive just had my 12 week scan, can anyone see the nub as I dont think I can see it. Heart beat was 163 bps

I'm not positive but I think this is the nub , if it is I'd say girl but I'm not totally sure that's definitely it lol just a guess !

Thanks!! 😃 its all confusing I tried to ask the guy doing the scan where it was but he wasnt very friendly and just said no he doesnt know.

Ah yeah they won't even entertain it at the 12 week scan ! Even if you ask at the 20 week they say they think it's a boy/girl, they never say 100%!
