Due Saturday. Wasn't well the other day and spent most of the day in the bathroom. I now have the biggest pile (I assume) imaginable and am so uncomfortable and in pain. Cream isn't helping. I presume there's no point going to the doctors as they will be unlikely to do anything as I am due any minute and all the pushing will just bring it back out again? Im feeling so sorry for myself Sad

Hi, you have my sympathy. I had them in my second pregnancy and my gp did give me an amazing steroid ointment, uniroid. Worked wonders. Other best things are baths and icing the area to really bring the swelling down. I use to put tiny bundles of frozen peas in cling film as advised by midwife.
