Bleeding 6 weeks pregnant

Hello ladies

I know there are plenty of similiar posts on this topic but I haven’t managed to find a story like mine.
Last week as I was 5 weeks 5 days pregnant I had quite painful cramps as I was driving for just a few minutes. I went to the loo about an hour later and my underwear were bright red (sorry for tmi). Since then, I’ve had discharges of many shades of red and even wiped what looked like solid tissue. I had a miscarriage 5 months ago so I know that it doesn’t sound too good. I rang the NHS helpline and as I expected they can’t do anything just yet. I’m hoping to get an early scan next week but I was just wondering if anybody had experienced something similiar? X

Hi, sorry to hear this. . I don't have experience of exactly this but I didn't want to read and run.

I did have very heavy bleeding (like a heavy period) around 12 weeks with my 1st child, though, and it was terrifying (although turned out fine eventually) for several weeks no-one could tell me if it was going to be OK or not.
