Maternity notes

I live in Scotland and was told at my first booking in appointment that there's an app now for maternity notes and i'd be set up on it on my next appointment. I had my 2nd appointment and still haven't been set up on it.

Has anyone here used it and how far along were you when you got set up on it?
I'm currently 15 weeks.

What trust are you in? I’m 31 weeks in Lothians and heard nothing about that! At my last midwives appointment I even saw all the prepped paper notes for the booking in appointments coming that day. That was 4 weeks ago... it might just be a pilot in your trust.

I'm in aberdeen. There's no paper notes here anymore. All done electronically

Yes I'm in a similar area to you.
I checked mine after my first appointment and nothing.
Checked again 2 weeks later and I can now access them 😀

I’m in the shire, got the log in at the booking appointment, didn’t check it until I was about 20 weeks. I had access fine but it’s pants anyway, way less information than was in my paper notes last time and way less than the midwife records. I’m not sure it even had my blood pressure!

I'm fife and there's really nothing on it of any use to us! Just your bp and Urine dip. It's really for HCP to see if you need anything urgently.

Actually I’ve just gone back and had a proper look at them, they seem to have several sections so if you dig about the info is all there.
Beware that trusts who don’t use this system (most of them) can’t access your notes through it so if you were admitted to hospital for example on a holiday or work trip elsewhere in the UK you would need charge on your phone, internet access and be well enough to log in and show them.

@loumsc I'm in Aberdeen too and the system is online or on an app called pregnotes - honestly though, don't rely on it cause the system is just load of rubbish and really old school given that it's quite new!

My midwife took a wee while to get me registered on it too and she sort of suggested it was because none of the midwifes liked the system and it was a total pain in the arse to use.
