35+4

Baby is 2/5 engaged already. This morning great globs of mucus plug started coming away. One big blob this morning, another around lunch and a small bit just now

FTM.

I was at an antennal appt this morning, so consultant and midwives do know!

It was a couple of weeks for me personally but it really does differ from woman to woman! It can be hours, days or weeks it's really difficult to say Thanks

MaryH90 · 07/08/2018 17:06

4 hours for me

WooYa · 07/08/2018 17:09

Plug went Thursday, waters the Friday after (8 days) and baby came Sunday

imsconequeen · 07/08/2018 17:12

A bit over 2 weeks

DrWhy · 07/08/2018 17:17

I had already been in labour about 6 hours!

BiddyPop · 07/08/2018 17:18

I was already labouring (not yet deemed in “active labor”) and had moved front DGPs house to hospital (via short bath and change of clothes at home). It went in the shower, I’d been feeling contractions since 9pm ish, it went about 3am ish, and DD arrived shortly after 6am. Started labouring in original EDD (cons had changed it And pushed back a few days over the 40 weeks).

Mine went after my waters broke when I was at the hospital and 5cm

I didn't lose mine until I was labouring away in hospital. DH was helping me into the birthing pool at the time and when it came out I just went "here, hold this" and handed it too him.. fortunately he's not squeamish Grin

The next day with all three of mine.

About half an hour later roughly. Lost plug at 9am, regular contractions stared at around 9:30. Dd wasn’t born till 4:30pm the next bloody day though!

Rebecca36 · 08/08/2018 00:29

Didn't notice any mucus plug coming out. Waters broke but I was well into labour by then.

Bibijayne · 08/08/2018 10:12

Oh gosh! Lots of different experiences.

I'm on daily CTGs now, to keep an eye out for baby and for any sign of contractions.
