Weird coloured discharge at nine weeks? TMI (pictures included)

Hi everyone. This post will be a little TMI but then again, nothing about pregnancy is particularly glamorous lol

I'm currently 9+2 with my second pregnancy (but hopefully first baby). I had a missed miscarriage in April (was supposed to be 12 weeks but a scan revealed an empty sac).

I've been getting a lot of discharge pretty much since I found out, and it's always had a slight yellow/very slight orange tinge to it. However in the past few weeks I've noticed I've been getting increasing amounts of orangey/tan snot-like discharge (lovely I know!). It's worse when I've had a bowel movement, I guess from straining lol.

It doesn't smell, and I'm not itchy or in any pain. I've had two early reassurance scans, one on the 24/07 and one last week, both of which showed a healthy baby, growing well and with a strong heartbeat. ❤

I'm just wondering if this funky coloured discharge is normal? I've never had it before, not with the pregnancy I lost nor any other time.

Thanks!

I was just about to say that someone posted about this recently, but I see it was you.

Have you googled/mentioned to midwife?

CobaltRose · 07/08/2018 14:19

I've googled and have been getting various answers (it's Google, what did I expect Grin).

My first midwife appointment is tomorrow.

I've been getting this too. Currently 8 weeks into second pregnancy. Like you, I also had a miscarriage so no live births. I didn't have this with the miscarriage, but have been getting it this time round since about 6 weeks. 2 reassurance scans so far (most recent was 6 days ago) and all seems fine. Midwife doesn't seem concerned, so I'm trying not to be either :)
