Anyone else? Sorry, having a moan. Feel free to join me.

Bad SPD, can’t sleep as horribly itchy, acid reflux, keep dripping wee on my leg every time I stand up to wipe my foo after a wee. Not performing at work. DP happily snoring away the minute his beautiful curls touch the goddam pillow.

Seriously cannot take potentially another 8 weeks of this.

Anyone else?

How the fuck do we get through this?!

Awww OP it's so bloody horrible isn't it? I swear to God my hair hasn't been dry for nearly 3 weeks due to sweating like a pig in heat. My crotch feels like it's been in a fist fight with Mike Tyson (spd is the bloody worst) and half my fluid intake is gaviscon some days. My baby boy is using my ribs as a bed and actually made one of them crack so loud my DH heard it from the other side of the room (no damage just an ouch). To top it all off I got 4 bloody mosquito bites on a single arse cheek and they itch like mad!

I am due in 3 days and will be induced on the 16th if this monkey doesn't make an appearance and God knows it feels like forever. But the thing is I felt exactly the same as you do 8 weeks ago too. Being pregnant can be shit, this is my 3rd baby and I kid you not in the last 2 years I have only not been pregnant for 6 months. The worst part is with my last DS I told my DH at least 65 times a week "never again" and yet here I am and it was planned haha.

We get through it for no other reason than we have to, and we do it again for no other reason it's so so worth it. I wont lie and tell you it gets easier but I can promise you that it is so bloody worth it, otherwise why the hell did I go it again so soon haha Flowers

Havetothink · 07/08/2018 04:10

I'm with you, 31 weeks awake at 3.30am sweating into my pregnancy pillow, that I apparently can't sleep without now even though it makes me hotter Sleep upright so I don't vomit with reflux. Having to constantly freshen up to avoid the heat rash that keeps coming back and peeling myself off chairs. Rubbish at work and really struggling just to stay hydrated. This summer needs to end, I'm getting Braxton hicks ever time I'm dehydrated and finding it tough to walk any distance. In the daytime I still have to keep my 2yr old dd happy, thank god she usually realises it's too hot after 1/2 hour outside.

MrSpock · 07/08/2018 04:44

I’m 17 weeks with twins and I agree. This is a much wanted pregnancy after losses, but I find actually being pregnant incredibly hard. Itchy tits, severe sickness, exhaustion, waking at 4am to pee every five minutes... Angry

It’s bloody stressful.

GetThisBabyOut · 07/08/2018 05:21

God I’m with you. I’m 37 weeks. I can plan one ‘activity’ (a swim, meeting a friend, a walk etc.) per day, if I try to do any more than that, I’m an exhausted, hormonal wreck by about 6pm - full on weeping and have to be taken to bed. I have to change sides regularly when sleeping or my hips and upper legs go dead and turning over is bloody difficult. I can pee every hour in the night sometimes and yep - pee dribble every time I stand up! I dread to think how unsanitary my between the knees pillow is. I’ve had thrush that never fully disappears since about 8 weeks so go through several pairs of knickers per day - when I was working and getting more sweaty, I was basically getting nappy rash from the constantly damp knickers. I’m acidic and nauseous all the time and spend a small fortune on gaviscon. I keep getting random episodes of painful braxton hicks and getting my hopes up that he might come a bit early but let’s face it, i’m Probably going to be stuck like this for another 5 weeks. 😩

triangulator · 07/08/2018 05:40

Get the doctor to prescribe ranitidine for the heartburn.

I suffered terribly and was surprised how much better I felt just getting the heartburn under control :)

GetThisBabyOut · 07/08/2018 05:48

I’m taking ranitidine and it’s currently doing nothing for me (worked really well earlier on). Have a GP appointment tomorrow so will see if she’ll prescribe some ompeprazole.

LaPufalina · 07/08/2018 06:09

Solidarity, OP.
I've got spd, heartburn and pregnancy insomnia (until last week I had sinusitis for three full weeks) and a 20 month old DD, I'm 35 weeks today.
I thought I might have three before this pregnancy but definitely stopping at two!

Yarnswift · 07/08/2018 06:11

I hear you. 37 weeks, spd to the point I’m housebound. Hyperemesis back with a vengeance so puking and feeling permanently nauseous. Horrible horrible period pain type stuff happening and feel so down and grim.

Oh and it’s forecast to be 30c again this week. I live in Sweden and we have had 3 MONTHS of over 30c weather. Hideous. I’ve had enough.

Stuckforthefourthtime · 07/08/2018 06:37

Yup! Due in a few weeks with dc4, and between the spd, the heartburn, and solo care of 3 boys under 8 for the school holidays it's all a bit grim. 😐

orphanblack1 · 07/08/2018 07:10

Omg you poor ladies are all suffering! In the nicest possible way, I’m glad it’s not just me!

Another shite nights sleep. Reckon I’m peeing every hour too - where does it come from as no liquid passed my lips since 9pm yet just keeps coming!!!

DP moaning about my peeing on the seat but sometimes I don’t notice I’ve done it - never did this pre-pregnancy! Suppose it’s a bit of revenge for his peeing on the floor - ha ha!!!

Yep, with you on the can’t sleep without preg pillow yet feel like am wrapped up in a massive marshmallow it’s msking me so hot! And there must be dribbles of wee/discharge on there - nice!!!

Have been debating an elective c section anyway for various reasons and makes me so much more tempted as know this would all be over in 5 weeks, though then I’d get myself a new set of problems.

This is also a very much wanted baby after a MMC last year. First baby and I’m 40 in 6 weeks time. Swore I’d not moan if was lucky enough to have a sticky bean but can’t help it!!!!

OP posts:
PirateWeasel · 07/08/2018 07:36

I think I've found my tribe! 34 weeks too and am suffering big time with heartburn and this effing heat. Keep saying I don't care what I have to go through as long as the Bean is healthy and happy, but some days I'm just 😭 Men don't understand the half of it! But we're amazing. Solidarity, sisters!!✊

Pickledgerkingsareathing · 07/08/2018 07:44

35 weeks and had enough now !!! Doesn't help that my 16month old has decided to wake up constantly between 7-1am but then he sleeps I guess but the problem is I don't!! Xx

guiltynetter · 07/08/2018 07:46

34 weeks here too and have been mostly okay in this pregnancy until yesterday when i decided i totally just have had enough! i went for a growth scan which made it a bit scarily real that i have to give birth to my potentially huge baby 😱 and spent most of the night crying cos i was hungry, uncomfortable and tired! so attractive 😊

MaverickSnoopy · 07/08/2018 07:49

This is me. 31 weeks with PGP, sciatica and 2 children already. I never sit down ever. I'm permanently sweaty these days. Every time I lie down I am winded. And everything else you ladies have already said.

The worst thing for me is that I can only manage to do 2-3 activities a week. Last week I did something 3 days in a row and then I was written off. Supposed to be going to London this week and just don't know if I can manage it.

So fed up.

Yarnswift · 07/08/2018 07:53

I have given up entirely on activities etc. After even trips to the supermarket on crutches left me unable to walk afterwards.

I’ve told everyone I am sitting the fuck down and that’s that. DH has stepped up and been fab and drafted family in.... but I can’t do any more. I’ve been struggling physically for nine months almost and I have nothing left.

NelleB · 07/08/2018 07:59

33 weeks here, baby and I been having daily chats about coming at 37 weeks otherwise Mummy is going to cry from 37-40 weeks. I resemble an egg on two matchsticks and my legs are like led.

orphanblack1 · 15/08/2018 21:58

35+2 now and still fed up! Itching keeping me awake at night (have had blood tests and all fine), keep waking up with sick in my mouth. Exhausted. Have booked an elective c section though may cancel

OP posts:
SiolGhoraidh · 15/08/2018 22:17

@NelleB We've been having similar chats about how he should not take after his father, who is late for everything!

Today's pregnancy gripe is that I went to the loo earlier and all the joints in my sacrum cracked. I honestly thought I'd broken the seat off!

user1495827045 · 16/08/2018 07:55

I feel your pain!! Nearly 37 weeks and feeling so uncomfortable! I.wake myself up at night trying to move into a comfortable position. I need the loo at least twice at night which takes me forever to get to as my legs and back are killing me. I'm sweating constantly, pooing loads but also feeling mega gassy/constipated. Still feeling nausea type symptoms - this resulted in me throwing up unexpectedly over the kitchen the other week (fun trying to clear all that up when feeling so rotten). I'm mega moody and literally get so annoyed at anything. I'm constantly tired now aswell however napping makes me feel dopey and not very well. It's fun being pregnant hey?! I'm focusing on the fact we will have a new baby at the end which our son is so excited to meet x

LucyLou19 · 16/08/2018 13:21

35 weeks tomorrow and so fed up!!!! 37 weeks I’m gonna do everything in my power for this baby to arrive xx

Merename · 16/08/2018 15:07

This may be a slight tangent, but, OP, can't you wipe before you stand up? This is what I do all the time and am now wondering if everyone stands up to wipe, pregnant or not?!! Blush

orphanblack1 · 16/08/2018 16:01

Yeah I do but then when I get up I seem to drip!!!!

I'm literally going to the loo around 15 times (yes, you read that right) a night. I'm bad for needing the loo normally (apparently I have a normal sized bladder, it just fills up quickly) but this is something else!!!

I literally can't face going to potentially 42 weeks. Come 1 Sept (as want a Sept baby for school reasons) I am doing everything I can to convince him to come out! I've asked him very nicely on several occasions if he will make an appearance then!!!

OP posts:
Havetothink · 16/08/2018 19:17

Are you absolutely sure it's wee dripping and not your waters?

endofthelinefinally · 16/08/2018 19:23

Wrap towels round pillows. It does help to absorb everything, and easily changed/washed.

LucyLou19 · 16/08/2018 19:51

Yep 1st September here too gonna really crack on with gym ball etc. I’ve already started on raspberry leaf tea to speed up second part of labour xx
