Waterbirth an obstetric history warning. Why?

Just flicking through my maternity notes to find out what my BP was at last appointment and noticed a section titled Obstetric History Warnings related to Previous Pregnancies. Under there my previous miscarriages are listed but so is the fact that one of my children was a water birth. Why is this?

Maybe they wrote it there to show you had the waterbirth, but not mean it as a warning, just to highlight your history

Assume this is a printed out summary? We use a program called Eclipse in the trust I work for and your wording sounds like this is possibly the same thing. It highlights some really weird stuff in the history. It’s really annoying and sometimes kind of inappropriate. The midwives caring for you are not going to consider a previous waterbirth a risk factor or a concern though!

Pregnancy notes vary between different NHS trusts so I would suggest you ask your midwife.
