Hi, everyone

So I was due on my period on 12th July, thought it was a period, but then I was bleeding for 12 days which normally it lasts 3 days.. I did a pregnancy test which was positive, had abit of cramping. Went to a&e they said going off what your telling me iv had a mc (miscarriage). I went to see my doctor for 2nd opinion as I had no clotting they've tested my hgc levels, 1st one was at 75.. 2 days later went up to 90. Has anyone else been through this? Help! X

Did the doctor refer you to the EPAU (Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit)? If not ask them to - or you may be able to refer yourself, search for EPAU at your local hospital.

Doctors are ringing me again tomorrow, I'm going to ask for a scan. They haven't mentioned anything about the epu yet. I'm just so worried if it's ectopic or mc.

They likely won’t be able to offer you a scan at this point, as nothing can be seen until the hcg is over 1000.

I had some bleeding at 4+4, so had to go for blood tests 48 hours apart. They wanted the hcg to at least double to make sure it was viable.

The waiting is horrible. I had a positive outcome in the end but it was honestly one of the worst and most stressful experiences of my life. Much sympathy.
