Ok, I know I'm being a bit silly, but just wondering if anyone else is in the same position.
I'm 9+4 today and my sickness has started to go a bit over the last few days.
For background this is my first pregnancy. Been feeling a bit nauseous since I found out but was very sick from about 7-9 weeks. The only was to describe it was I felt like I'd drank 3 bottles of wine and night and woke up with a raging hangover 😂. I lost 5lbs in those few weeks as all I did was throw up or eat junk!
I had a scan at 8 weeks due to some mild left sided discomfort, but scan was fine-turns out it was my IBS causing the discomfort (you could actually see my bowel spasming on the scan!!).

Anyway, over the last few days I would say I only feel like got a slight hangover. Only throwing up if I've been on a long car journey (so mixed with travel sickness) and managing healthier food.
Also, my energy is coming back and my boobs are slightly more comfortable.
The only thing that has stayed as strong is my sense of smell! Struggling to even have flowers in my house as they smell so strong to me!

Wow this post is a bit longer than planned haha, but just wondering if anyone is noticing symptoms decreasing a bit at this stage xxx

I'm exactly nine weeks and I've noticed my nausea decreasing gradually over the past few days. It's actually been pretty on and off throughout this pregnancy (I'll feel fine for a couple of days, then really ill for a few days, then fine again, etc).

My boobs are still sore, though that can also be on and off. I worried as I've previously had a miscarriage, but I've had two private scans (the most recent three days ago) which showed a healthy baby, growing well and with a strong heartbeat ❤

I think it's very normal for symptoms to come and go in early pregnancy. I reckon it's because our hormone levels will rise and then stabilise, before rising again a few days later.

Hi guys,
I am 11 weeks and at 9 weeks my nausea started to ease - I still get the odd wave but mostly it's much better compared to a few weeks ago when I could barely get out bed!!!

We have our first scan on Friday - so excited but also nervous! X

Same here- 10 weeks and feeling much better. Worrying me a lot. Had a scan 10 days ago which showed a healthy heartbeat etc but still very worried some days I don’t feel pg at all!! X

It was like a switch was flicked at 9 weeks for me with my first. My energy was back and the constantly hungover feeling was gone. Currently 33 weeks with my second and the heartburn is killing me. Enjoy the respite OP!

Also, I think the placenta starts to take over at around 9/10 weeks, which leads to a stabilisation of hormones and therefore a reduction in symptoms.

Thank you all for the replies.
It's nice to see I'm not the only one feeling like this (even after seeing the little one in scan!).
Hope you're all well, and this is just our normal pregnancy ❤️
