Acne!
14 weeks pregnant and have terrible spots! All over my forehead, some on chin and skin so oily it shines! Third pregnancy and never had anything like this before!
Have never suffered with spots and never used any skin care products so have no idea what to do!
Any advice on products or a routine which may help??

Cleanse, tone, moisturise! You don't need anything fancy, just something that will leave your skin feeling clean. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that you have to strip your skin of everything - you need some of those essential skin oils. Go to boots and get something gentle, neutrogena or garnier products are decent and not too pricey, IME. You might need to try a couple if you've never had a routine before. Skin can be very temperamental!

If you have a few more pennies the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser is great, and I think Aldi does a cheaper copy.

Also, my skin was crappy around the same mark as you, but by about week 20 looked a lot better.

I'm 20 weeks with an enormous amount of spots on my head and around my mouth also some on my neck :( I'm trying everything I feel like absolute shit with it :( never going to go !!

I had this with my first, right through pregnancy and until about 6months after. Nothing cleared them at the time (I'm sorry I don't have more positive news about that). I was so down about it but ended up just covering it with make up instead. Then suddenly about 6months post-preg they cleared up and my skin has been in the best condition of my life ever since! I had a microdermabrasion recently just to try it out and the dermatologist said that just keeping your skin clean and moisturised is the best thing you can do for hormonal acne until the hormones settle down if it's pregnancy related. Hope that helps a little. If it's painful then I recommend a really intensive moisturiser like cetraben xx

I had the same :( because it was hormonal I found nothing helped I’m sorry to say and I tried quite a few products. Everyone told me spots mean it’s a girl 😂 which was true in my case! By 20 weeks they had cleared though.

My skin just gets terrible in pregnancy. It's totally hormonal so no skin care routine touches it. I normally have a great routine but it makes no difference to my pregnancy skin.

My skin on my face, chest and back was absolutely awful until about 27 weeks. It's seemed to clear up overnight. A few weeks later I'm clear still but still not got this supposed 'glow' though!

I had 2 massive zits on my chin yesterday! Shock Not had once since I was 15! Not a nice part of pregnancy!
