Hey everyone I'm 26 weeks 3 days since 5 this morning I've been having this weird pain continuously coming and going right down in my groin almost where my pubic bone is. It's no constantly but comes and god regularly and hasn't stopped all day baby's movement have been a lot lower down today at my bikini line and seem a lot less strong. Does anyone know what this could be it's so annoying

Could be pelvic girdle pain? I’ve had it on and off (mainly on!) and could barely move the entirety of my honeymoon.

Or it could just be loosening tendons.

Some of the signs of PGP include things like - does it get worse on standing/weight bearing on one leg. What about going upstairs? Getting in and out of bed/car - activities that you separate your legs for. Any grinding/clicking?

If it's predominantly in your pubic region it could be symphobic pubis disorder, basically your body is producing too much of the relaxin hormone which causes your pubic bone to move too much. I have it terribly this pregnancy (my third) and at times I can barely walk. If you talk to your GP they will be able to prescribe you codeine if the pain becomes too much. It does tend to get worse as pregnancy progresses. It is waking me upto 4 times an hour at the moment but less than a week till due date and 12 days until induction. Your midwife will be able to tell you more xx

I got that on one side later in the pregnancy. Just remember midwife being dismissive and googling it myself; thought it was either PGP or baby pressing on a nerve or similar.

Think it was more noticeable getting out of bed so maybe was PGP as poster above said.

Just tolerated it and it disappeared with birth.
