Just wondering, can they still measure the baby by weeks + days after 16 weeks?

I think I read somewhere that after 16 weeks the baby is too big to be seen fully on the scan so wondering if they still measure the same way?

I seem to recall there being a weeks and days measurement at my 16 week scan, but it was an emergency scan so I wasn’t fully with it!

Baby is definitely still small enough to be full visible. My hospital advise that this is the case up until 28 weeks.

Hope this helps x

Thanks @Stephisaur
It's mainly a reassurance scan as it's an ivf pregnancy and I've had a lot of bleeding. Just praying all is ok!!

When I had my 20 week scan and sonographer was taking measurements there was a weeks + days measurement shown at the bottom of the screen for each measurement. (She said to ignore it as at 20 weeks it doesn't effect my due date but it was definitely on screen and pretty accurate by my dates)
