Ante-natal classes

I am 29+2 and am looking to book onto some ante-natal classes. Need some help. Have left a message for my midwife but she is on holiday and not back til next Wednesday. I am looking for some free-ones to attend with my DH in the South Northants area. Towcester, Brackley, Milton Keynes, Banbury, Surrounding areas please. Does anyone have any advice or help? All the ones I've looked at online you have to pay for. I always presumed this was free?
Thank you in advance. X

There should be some through your NHS trust that are free. I believe they're usually day-long classes. Try this website: www.nhs.uk/Service-Search/Antenatal%20classes/LocationSearch/358

I’d give your local children’s centre a ring and see if they have any space left on any they are running. They do book up very quickly though and you might find that even the paid ones have no spaces (i have a set starting at 31 weeks and booked in before my 20 week scan to give indication of how quickly they fill up). Hopefully you can find somewhere!

@Liz3891 All the ones I have searched on there you have to pay for when you put my postcode in.

@Thegirlhasnoname My midwife did say about some classes but I just don't know where to look! All the ones even on NHS site are paid ones. Thank you though x

@laurenluke2017 have you checked with your hospital directly? Mine does them alongside a tour of the birthing suite x

Chipping Norton does Parentcraft, it's a free one day course for first time parents. Maybe give them or Banbury community midwives a ring if you're around North Oxfordshire
