Gagging

I'm 17 weeks pregnant, 3rd child. This time, I seem to have a massively overdeveloped gag reflex - blowing up armbands, brushing my teeth, a rotten smell (eg emptying the potty for my toddler), too much thick saliva in my mouth, can all set it off. It's really irritating, and more recently it's gone further than gagging and I've been sick.

It's not morning sickness per se - that passed a month ago, I don't feel ill at all, it's just a physical reaction to certain stimuli. Has anyone else had this? I've not had it with either of my other pregnancies.

I ve had this all the way through my pregnancy, even if I do a little cough that makes me feel like I m about to be sick,, I would have to run and get a drink of water for it to go away, I have to say though I m on week 29 and it has gotten better the last while but I think I m just getting used to it xx

Me too! I'm 15 weeks and can be eating normally one minute then the next mouthful makes me gag I have to spit it out! Smells being amplified isn't helping either. Even when I cough I can gag. It's horrendous.
