Braxton Hicks? Lopsided and lots of them!

I’m 26 + 4 and quite a bit yesterday and particularly this evening I’ve been getting what I think are Braxton Hicks. My tummy goes rock hard and lopsided for a few seconds and then calms down a bit. I panicked at the amount I was getting but they aren’t painful and although there’s a lot, they don’t seem to be in a pattern or regular. What do you think? Should I worry or is this totally normal, particularly after two hot days when I’ve been walking around a lot? I’ll try and get a pic when it next happens.

They sound just like Brixton hicks to me, or even Braxton but do call your midwife if you are concerned,

Probably best to phone and check but it sounds like BH - I had them from a similar time. They were much more frequent and painful if I was dehydrated, so try drinking plenty and having a small snack. Then have a rest!

Alas I don’t know my new midwife or have her number, had two other ones but they’ve both left (maybe it’s me!) and will meet the next one in a couple of weeks. Bit worried about disturbing the local mac as they’ve seen me twice now - after fainting and then a small bleed a few weeks later and I am sure they will think I am a massive hypochondriac! (I am, a bit.)

They sound like the ones I had. Are you slim? I actually felt quite self conscious at times when I thought colleagues might see wonky bump! I think it can depend on how the baby is lying.
