Evening primrose oil

Has anyone else used evening primrose oil? If so how many weeks did you start? How many did you take? Orally? Vaginally? Did it do anything? I'm 36 weeks today

I started taking mine at 36 weeks, I only took one orally but you can take 3 as per bottles instructions (500mg)
I started inserting vaginally from 37 weeks and I'm still pregnant at 39+4 but cervix has in those two weeks gone very soft and dilated to 2-3cm.
I put it in a night 1 capsule to start and then 2 at 38wks and 3 for 39 weeks. Put a pantyliner on incase although I've never had any mess to be honest. Just sits on the water after having my morning wee. Smells a bit yuck, just be sure you wash your hands first x
