How far along are you? My symptoms have dropped off massively over the last few weeks but I've heard it's normal when approaching the second trimester.

My symptoms disappeared at the weekend (10 weeks) so I’ve had a private scan today, baby is wonderful and I was really really sick right before my scan. Try not to worry, it’s easier said than done but hormones fluctuate especially during early pregnancy.

You need to give us more information than this

Loss of symptoms alone wouldn't normally be a cause for concern. I had very few symptoms in my first pregnancy.

Thank you everyone, I was very vague in my post as I got myself very worked up, I am roughly 5/6 weeks pregnant

My symptoms have been very on and off throughout my pregnancy. Some days I feel fine and other days I feel awful. I worried, but I had a scan today at 8w4d which showed a healthy little bean waving away on the scan ❤

HettySunshine · 02/08/2018 20:01

Some days are much more symptomy than others op. It's completely totally natural to worry something is wrong with a longed for pregnancy.

When I went for my first scan I told the sonographer I was worried there wouldn't be a baby there and she said almost all first time mums say the same.

Try to relax for the next few weeks until you have your scan. There's no harm in doing another pregnancy test to reassure yourself but please take comfort from knowing that what you're feeling is really really common.

Thank you all so much, I’ve since spoken to medical team who have reassured me and like you all have said, what I’m going through is totally normal, this is my second child and this pregnancy is so much different to my first!
Thanks again for your advise Smile

Hi OP, I'm 8 weeks pregnant with DC2 and this pregnancy is way different to my first. I've barely had any symptoms so far, but with my DD I had sore boobs, constipation, nausea and utter exhaustion. If I hadn't got a positive test this time around, I wouldn't know I was even pregnant.

My mum said she was exactly the same with my younger brother.
